The food that

fibers is.. right:
fruit! Vegetables
as well.
It is advised
to consume
25 to 30 grams of
fibers out of
fresh fruits
and/or vegetables.
In practice this
means at least
five to nine
portions of fresh
fruits and/or
vegetables a day.

free. It contains
some of it, but
that is of a
different type
than the type
that causes so
many diseases.
Animal products

a lot of

your 5 fruits a
a day you reduce
three of the
major risk
factors for
heart disease:

cholesterol;

pressure and
Excess body
weight.
For high blood
pressure
bananas seems
to be a good
remedy.
Research has
shown that
potassium
lowers the
blood pressure.
Bananas are
significant
sources of
potassium and
would be
expected to
have a
beneficial
effect on blood
pressure.
The best reason
to eat fruit
we can come
up with is
that it tastes
so nice and
that you can
have as much of
it as you
want without
gaining weight!
